Mauricio Dias and Walter Riedweg have been working together since 1993. Based in Brazil, Dias & Riedweg work in interdisciplinary projects that examine the subjectivity of individuals in relation to different conditions of belonging. The work of the duo is characterized by a desire to examine “the other”, questioning the relationships between different nations, individuals and groups in society. Through their work, the artists seek to analyze the various tensions and conflicts that agitate the political, social and economic spheres of the world.<\/p>\n
